1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, and legally capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use this site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Products, and the nature of handwork
2.1 Handmade variation
Our poshak and accessories are cut, stitched, embroidered, and finished by hand by artisans in and around Mathura. Small differences in embroidery placement, thread density, stone setting, and dye shade between one piece and another — and between a photograph and the piece you receive — are inherent to hand work. They are a mark of authenticity, not a defect.
2.2 Colour representation
We photograph our pieces in natural light with minimal correction. Even so, colours can appear differently on different screens and at different brightness settings. Slight variation between the image and the piece is not grounds for a defect claim.
2.3 Sizing
Idol sizing is not standardised across the industry. Our sizes follow our own published measurements, set out in the Sizing & Fit Guide. Please measure your idol before ordering. Our Fit Guarantee covers one free size exchange per order — see the Refund and Returns Policy.
2.4 Availability
All products are subject to availability. Our collections are produced in limited quantities and are refreshed seasonally. We reserve the right to withdraw a product, or to limit quantities per customer, at any time and without notice.
2.5 Hero Couture
Hero Couture pieces are released in limited, numbered runs, two to three times a year. Once a run is exhausted it will not be reproduced. Allocation is on a first-confirmed-order basis.
3. Pricing and payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes. (Replace with "inclusive of GST" and add the GSTIN once GST registration is complete.)
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is confirmed.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order where a price or product description has been listed incorrectly due to a technical or human error. In such a case, we will inform you and refund any amount paid in full.
- Payment must be received in full before dispatch, except on Cash on Delivery orders, where payment is collected by our courier partner at the time of delivery. Cash on Delivery is available on orders up to ₹5,000 and carries a ₹49 handling fee.
- We may cancel or hold an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, an invalid payment instrument, or an incorrect or unserviceable address.
4. Complimentary gifts
From time to time we include a complimentary item with orders above a stated value. These gifts:
- are not for sale and carry no cash value
- are subject to availability, and may be substituted with an item of comparable value
- must be returned along with the product if the order is returned
- are not, and are not represented to be, a discount on the price of the product
5. Orders, returns, and shipping
Order acceptance, cancellation, returns, exchanges, refunds, shipping charges, and delivery timelines are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy and Shipping & Delivery pages. Both form part of these Terms.
An order confirmation email is an acknowledgement of your order, not an acceptance of it. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — photographs, illustrations, product designs, motifs, written narrative, the day-of-week storytelling framework, collection names, the Shree Krishna Poshak name and logo — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected under Indian copyright and trade mark law.

Reviews, photographs, and other content you submit to us remain yours, but by submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them on our website, social channels, and marketing materials, with credit where practicable.
7. Devotional context
Our collections draw on shringar traditions observed at Nathdwara, Banke Bihari, and other Vraj temples, including the association of particular colours with particular days of the week. These are presented as living ritual tradition as it is practised and passed down.
We describe tradition; we do not claim historical record of what was worn on any particular day, and we make no religious, spiritual, or supernatural claims about outcomes from the use of our products. Nothing on this site should be read as a substitute for the guidance of your own family tradition, guru, or pandit.

10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control — including courier disruption, natural events, strikes, civil disturbance, epidemic, government restriction, or failure of internet or payment infrastructure.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which cannot be excluded by agreement.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of this website.
